There is plenty of room for equipment that you would normally take with you when you're out shooting outdoors, on a family trip, and so on. The smaller bottom pouch of this camera bag is perfectly designed for all of your photography equipment that you might need - such as your digital cameras. And, the bottom pouch has a side opening so you don't have to set the bag down to grab your camera, although anyone that has a larger digital camera with grips will find that the side opening won't work for them. The upper pouch is larger, with plenty of room for other items, such as snacks, a small tripod, a jacket, and anything else that you might need to get your trip on track. The bag is designed to stand up to the elements, and even comes with a rain jacket that packs away underneath the bag - which makes this the perfect bag for anyone needing a camera bag for outdoor trips.
Of course, there are a couple of bad points to the Lowepro Primus AW Premium backpack, but not many. I already told you about the problem with the side opening if you have a larger digital camera. But, the other thing that I've noticed is that many smaller accessory attachments won't work with this bag, which means that some of your favorite extras won't be able to go with you easily. It does only come in one size, and while it was fine for a smaller person, those that have long torsos or that are just bigger in general will find that this camera bag might not fit their body well and will put the weight on the middle of their back instead of their hips. So, if possible, try this one on somewhere before you order it unless you have a smaller frame.
Overall though, I really like this camera bag. It comes in two different colors, is durable, and is a great general outdoors bag for photography lovers. I would recommend that you check into this one before you try some of the more expensive alternatives on the market.
